Pretty Girls Escape Plus follows nine beautiful girls from different athletics clubs and idol groups. At its core, the escape part is reflected in its puzzles. You clear a stage by guiding character blocks into the designated exit. You’ll have to unlock doors, combine similar blocks to eliminate them, and work through a host of gimmicks in order to achieve your goal.
In the Stage Mode, there are nine anime girls, each having six puzzle stages for you to solve. There’s also a Challenge Mode that contains 20 increasingly difficult missions. Aside from the puzzles, however, you can also check out the Diorama Mode, where you can freely place the characters. Change their outfits, add expressions, and take photos as you wish.
Another aspect of the game worth mentioning is the Japanese voice work, which rounds up the anime aesthetic of the game. It doesn’t require much from your system and the game is well-optimized, with no game-breaking bugs reported by players. The only catch in this game is that completionists will have a hard time finishing the last few levels, which are seriously challenging.
